Amber joined Ross & Company in 2008 from a publicly-traded global recruiting firm. Her search experience includes a range of successful recruitments across multiple industry segments with companies including Wolters Kluwer, GM Financial and Infor. Amber gained a reputation for leading a rigorous recruiting approach and demonstrated skill in forging high level relationships that helped her to discover top talent.
Today, she participates in managing the full lifecycle of the search process including, strategy, research and candidate recruitment for executive level assignments. Amber supports the recruitment efforts for C-level (CEO, CFO, and CTO), Board of Director, and functional VP-level searches in the fields of healthcare services, healthcare information, medical device, digital media, and technology service businesses for venture capital backed and large public companies. She has helped build leadership teams at companies such as Navicure (JMI Equity), The Advisory Board Company (NASDAQ: ABCO), Catapult Learning (The Carlyle Group), Triad Digital Media (HIG Ventures), Connextions (New Mountain Capital), Kindred Healthcare (NYSE: KND) and WebMD (NASDAQ: WBMD).
Prior to search, Amber held positions in product branding, and marketing and communication research. She graduated with a B.A. in Public Communication from American University. During her time at American, Amber was a member of the soccer team and in her senior year was elected team captain.
