Well-Known Search Veteran Joins Ross & Company

SOUTHPORT, Connecticut – November 1, 2006

Ross & Company announced today that Daniel P. Romanello has been appointed a Managing Director of the firm. A twenty-one year veteran of the retained executive search industry, Dan joins Ross & Company from Spencer Stuart where he was a Senior Partner.

During his fourteen year association with Spencer Stuart in Atlanta and Stamford, Mr. Romanello played a cardinal role in the development of that firm's global High Technology Practice. He founded and led the company's Enterprise Software Practice for ten years, and then was named to co-manage the Technology, Communications & Media Practice in North America, with responsibility for the Software, Professional Services, Internet and Venture Capital specialty practices.

Throughout his career in executive search, Mr. Romanello has specialized in conducting senior management searches for clients who develop advanced computer software, systems and services. He possesses extensive experience consulting to pre-public companies funded by leading venture capital firms as well as serving major multinationals. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart in 1992, Mr. Romanello was a vice president and partner in the Stamford office of another leading international search firm. Earlier, Dan Romanello's industry roles include his work for a Fortune 500 computer systems supplier, and participating in the creation and management of a venture capital-financed vendor of CAD/CAE workstations.
