Former Spencer Stuart Software Recruiter Tapped to Lead Firm's Growth in Technology Market

SOUTHPORT, Connecticut – September 2005 : Ross & Company, one of the leading executive recruiting firms serving the private equity and venture capital community, today announced the launch of its Boston office. Building the firm’s business in the Boston area and spearheading the firm’s growth in the technology sector will be former Spencer Stuart recruiter, Jim O'Sullivan. As Managing Director of Ross & Company's Technology Practice, Mr. O'Sullivan will focus on business development and executive-level searches for emerging growth companies within the technology sector.

With 10 years of industry experience, Jim O'Sullivan joined Ross & Company in 2004 from Spencer Stuart, one of the leading executive recruiting firms, where he served as a member of the Technology, Communications and Media Practice as well as the Software Specialty Practice. He was also responsible for the creation of Spencer Stuart's Chief Privacy Officer Practice. Prior to Spencer Stuart, Mr. O'Sullivan served as General Manager of a human capital management software company. He holds a B.A. from King’s College, and a J.D. from Quinnipiac University.
