Susan Carter joined Ross & Company in June of 2007 and brings to the firm 20 years of executive recruiting and human resources experience in the healthcare and technology industries.
She started in the retained executive search industry in 1998 with the Boston High Technology office of Battalia Winston. She was responsible for managing the full lifecycle of the search process including, strategy, research and candidate recruitment for executive level assignments. Susan then joined the Boston International Technology Practice of Heidrick & Struggles where she managed and conducted C-level (CEO, CFO, and CIO), Board of Director, and functional VP-level searches in the fields of software, Internet, e-commerce, hardware and systems integration for venture capital backed and large public companies.
Prior to executive search, Susan served with Partners HealthCare and was responsible for delivering on-site human resources consulting services in Outpatient and Ambulatory Services at Brigham and Women's Hospital. She started her career in Human Resources with The Putnam Companies.
Susan is a graduate of Wheaton College with a B.S Degree in Psychology.
